| Given such enthusiastic reception, from students, academics and members of the Buddhist as well as of the wider community, it was the considered opinion of the new Board that our appeal was indeed beyond Toronto. And in choosing our new name, NALANDA, we humbly sought to both invoke history as well as set our sights high. And a new vibrancy. That’s what’s in the air as we head in to the second year of our attempt to meet the Buddhist educational needs of Canadians. |
