| In response to growing evidence of the benefits of providing community-based programs with centralized support and resources, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Community and Health Promotion Branch(now the Ministry of Health Promotion), invited the Centre for Addiction & Mental Health to develop a FOCUS Resource Centre (FRC), in collaboration with the Ontario Drug Awareness Partnership, the Ontario Public Health Association, the Ontario Prevention Clearinghouse and the Health Communications Unit, Centre for Health Promotion. |
